Coming soon in Flow POS

Customer Management

A full customer directory is not in the Flow POS app yet. Flow POS currently captures customer details only where they are needed for invoices, hosted links, and receipt sharing.

Status: Flow POS does not currently include Customers navigation, customer search, saved customer profiles, card-on-file setup, or a customer payment history screen. Those are planned features.

What Flow POS supports today

Invoice recipient

Invoices require a customer email and can include an optional customer name.

Link sharing

Payment and subscription links can be emailed to a customer after the link is created.

Receipt sharing

Successful payments can offer receipt sharing by email, text, copy, or tap receipt when supported.

Stripe Dashboard fallback

Use the Stripe Dashboard to browse, create, and manage saved Stripe customers today.

How customer details are used today

  1. Open Flow POS and go to Sell.
  2. Enter the sale amount.
  3. Choose Invoice, Payment link, or Subscription.
  4. Enter the customer email when required, plus an optional customer name or description where available.
  5. After creation, share the Stripe-hosted page by email, text, copy, or tap link when supported.

Planned customer features

  • Customer directory in the Flow POS app
  • Customer search and filters
  • Customer profile details and payment history
  • Attach a saved customer to a new charge
  • Card-on-file workflows where Stripe and customer consent allow it
Saved Stripe customers can still be viewed and managed in the Stripe Dashboard while the Flow POS customer directory is being built.
