Invoices & Billing

Create simple Stripe invoices from the Sell screen, send them by email, and review recent Flow POS-created invoices in Transactions.

Creating an invoice

1
Open Sell
From the bottom navigation, tap Sell and enter the invoice amount on the keypad.
2
Choose Invoice
Tap Invoice in the alternate payment actions.
3
Enter customer details
Enter the customer's email. You can also add an optional customer name and description.
4
Send the invoice
Tap Send invoice. Stripe creates the invoice and sends the hosted payment page to the customer.
5
Review later
Open Transactions and choose the Invoices tab to view recent invoices created from Flow POS.
Current Flow POS scope: invoices are amount-based. Product line items, due dates, PO numbers, draft invoice editing, and full invoice settings should still be handled in the Stripe Dashboard for now.

Invoice status tracking

Draft

Saved but not sent to the customer yet.

Open

Sent - awaiting payment from the customer.

Paid

Customer has completed payment.

Void

Invoice was cancelled before payment.

Recurring invoices

For recurring billing, Flow POS can create a hosted subscription link from the Sell screen. Full subscription management, trials, product plans, and customer-specific subscription workflows remain Stripe Dashboard tasks for now.

Invoices are powered by Stripe Invoicing. Flow POS shows recent invoices it creates; the Stripe Dashboard remains the source of truth for full invoice history and advanced invoice settings.
